Alphabets Nursery was formed in 1995 and provides structured nursery education from the term your child turns 3 years old until they are ready for school at the age of 5 years. Our qualified staff is led by Mrs Ryan who is an experienced and committed early years practitioner, passionate about the standard of care and development the nursery provides to every child. Alphabets Nursery enjoys an excellent reputation and most of the new intake is through our word of mouth reputation with families returning Our Nursery staff all have excellent early years qualifications and work individually and in groups with the children. Your child will have an allocated key worker who will plan and deliver the curriculum in a way that meets his or her individual needs and abilities. We use a wide variety of learning methods to keep them engaged and eager to learn more. The focus of our curriculum is to ensure that your child will develop the essential literacy, language and numeracy skills and to stretch their minds academically and artistically. Equally important is the need to develop social and emotional skills in the early years. This will allow them to:- Sustain friendships Feel valued and nurtured Improve their self-awareness Promote self-respect and respect for others’ differences and values Become aware of the progress they have made and how to build on this to achieve further success. Our ultimate aim is school readiness.
